Indian Bass

Indian Bass is a study of the Melakarta Ragas (equivalent to the scales and modes of traditional Western Harmony). Altogether there are 72 Ragas.

Examples are in the key of C, allowing you to additionally study them in other keys. In the exercises section, all examples are played on the raga No. 15 (Mayamalavagaula) on a cycle of 8 beats (two measures of 4 beats) called Adi Talam.
